IDFC First Bank Q2 (Standalone YoY)

Profit plunges 73% to Rs 201 crore Vs Rs 751 crore. Net interest income grows 21% to Rs 4,788 crore Vs Rs 3,950 crore. Provisions surges to Rs 1,732 crore Vs Rs 528 crore. Gross NPA rises to 1.92% Vs 1.9% (QoQ). Net NPA falls to 0.48% Vs 0.59% (QoQ).

Yes Bank Q2 (Standalone YoY)

Profit jumps 145.6% to Rs 553 crore Vs Rs 225 crore. Net interest income increases 14.3% to Rs 2,200 crore Vs Rs 1,925 crore. Gross NPA falls to 1.6% Vs 1.7% (QoQ). Net NPA remains flat at 0.5% (QoQ)

ITD Cementation

The promoter, Italian-Thai Development Public Company, has entered into a Share Purchase Agreement with Renew Exim DMCC, part of the Adani Group, for the sale of a 46.64% stake at a price of Rs 400 per share. Renew Exim DMCC has also announced an open offer to acquire an additional 26% stake in ITD at Rs 571.68 per share. As of October 25, ITD's stock price was Rs 534.

Suven Pharmaceuticals

The pharma company has received approval from the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) for the merger of Casper Pharma with itself. Casper Pharma is a wholly owned subsidiary of Suven.

Avenue Supermarts

The DMart operator has completed the acquisition of a 26% shareholding in FP Ampere Energy (a wholly owned subsidiary of Fourth Partner Energy) for Rs 2 crore. Following this acquisition, FP Ampere has become an associate company of Avenue Supermarts.

Axis Bank

SEBI has issued a show cause notice to Axis Bank and its subsidiaries, Axis Securities and Axis Capital. Axis Bank and its subsidiaries are reviewing the contents of the show cause notice and will be filing responses with SEBI, as the transactions (purchase of shares of Max Life Insurance Company) were undertaken with the requisite regulatory approvals.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation

The Board has approved the company’s entry into a joint venture agreement with Oil India for developing a city gas distribution (CGD) project in Arunachal Pradesh. There will be a 50:50 shareholding between BPCL and Oil India in the joint venture.

Adani Enterprises

The company's subsidiary, Adani Airport Holdings, has incorporated a subsidiary named Celeritas International FZCO in the UAE for general trading business.

Sky Gold

The Board has approved the issuance of bonus shares in the ratio of 9:1 (nine new bonus equity shares for every existing equity share) to the eligible shareholders of the company as of the record date.

KRN Heat Exchanger and Refrigeration

The company's subsidiary, KRN HVAC Products, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Rajasthan for a proposed investment of Rs 1,000 crore.
